Rebalance Yourself Therapies

You’ve been carrying so much for so long. Maybe your body is telling you it’s time to pause…

Perhaps you’re exhausted from constantly holding everything together.

You might be functioning on the outside, while inside you feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected or completely drained. Maybe you’re struggling to switch off, your thoughts won’t slow down, or even the smallest things feel like too much.

Or perhaps you’ve reached the other side of all that doing — where you don’t have the energy anymore.

You feel numb. Foggy. Flat. You can’t seem to find your motivation, and you’re wondering where the woman you used to be has gone.

There is nothing wrong with you.

Sometimes the nervous system moves into activation to help us respond to what feels threatening or demanding.

Sometimes, when we’ve been carrying too much for too long, our nervous system begins to protect us in different ways.

You may have spent a long time in fight or flight — pushing through, staying busy, anticipating what might happen next, trying to keep everyone else okay.

And eventually, your body may simply say:

Enough.

This can be where burnout, exhaustion and shutdown begin to show themselves.

It isn’t laziness.

It isn’t weakness.

It isn’t you failing.

It may be a body that has been surviving for a very long time.

You don’t have to push yourself anymore.

Perhaps what you need first isn't another thing to fix.

Perhaps you need a moment to breathe.

A moment to recognise where you are and know that it’s okay to be here.

A moment to feel seen, understood and met without judgement.

From there, we can begin gently creating a little more safety — learning to listen to your body, understand your nervous system and notice what you need.

And slowly, at your own pace, we can begin to find choice again.

To move from simply surviving...

towards being able to live in the present.

To feel like you're back in the driver's seat of your own life.

Not by forcing yourself forward.

But by reconnecting with yourself, one small step at a time.

When this becomes burnout

Sometimes this way of living can eventually lead to burnout — a state of deep physical, emotional and mental exhaustion where even things that once felt manageable can begin to feel like too much.

Burnout can look different for everyone. You might feel constantly overwhelmed and unable to switch off, or completely depleted and disconnected from yourself.

You don't have to wait until you have nothing left to ask for support.
